Word puzzles serve as a form of exercise for our brains. Health research shares that word puzzles help improve one's short-term memory, as they reinforce connections between brain cells. Also, because word puzzles are fun to solve and answer, they enhance our mood. It happens when we experience success for solving challenging parts of the word puzzle activity. On that note, it is important to engage in word puzzles, as often as possible. So, the more often, the better. One thing to note is that the word puzzles should be challenging such as they also keep increasing the level of difficulty.
