Congratulations Daniyyel!

Coming home from the week-long training at the camp, this li'l boy didn't forget his twenty-minute reading time that while he was resting, pulled out some science books from his shelf and read.

Nyny's truly happy with how you're making reading a habit, having realized its benefits as you grow.
Your choice of materials changes as your knowledge expands.
I don't just simply celebrate your reading milestone but everything about how you learn things from experiences, from books, from the videos you watch and listen to, and from your own discoveries and wonders too.
I love to see and listen to your wonders and how you integrate your knowledge resources...sometimes I could hear you teaching me instead and I love it...I love the idea that me, being your teacher-mom, could sit for an hour listening to your wonders, answering your questions, and getting amazed by your sincere prayers too.
Like all other parents, proud for their kid's achievements, I am to you.
You know what makes a champion and it's beyond being an awardee...regardless, thank you for bringing home 3 stars... Star Reader Award, Good Communicator and Artistic Hand Award.
More grace to you, love.

Congratulations
for your effort and for learning patience while you study.
Snappy salute to you li'l army. Indeed, you've got stars!

Parenting is a Gifted Role

When you see your child growing, as a parent, you leverage your parenting in such a way that there will be more changed beliefs and attitudes on your part... and sometimes even when you feel hesitant to give up scolding, you still feel like doing so... then, after a minute... you find yourself charged with extra batteries of patience and begin to learn positive reinforcement, instead... you talk slower, gentler, kinder...and you see how your happy mood eventually changed your child's annoying behavior. Parenting has changed overtime...and I felt that... It's been changing me too since I realized there's a li'l boy needing a mom-friend, a mom-teacher in one. Every parent's guide to great parenting is no more than his/her own built-in abilities challenged to be re-built both in happy and annoying ways... We own our parenting and have different stories that test us through and through... no perfect ones... but I suppose all parents strive to becoming one...while we a

Unfolding Realities of Parenting

No parent is always conscious and gentle, positive and peaceful...at all times. ...and I understand it takes practice to be conscious and gentle, positive and peaceful at all times. Under all the conditioning, whether trauma or shame, social standard or other people's expectations, You are the parent you aspire to be. Never doubt yourself. Only accept the role and be grateful for being chosen to be part of your child's inward-out molding. No matter what the world says, claim your sovereignty as a parent. You are not alone in this journey. Don't get drained. Gods grace holds you. Whether you parent with a spouse or alone, God's grace holds you. #sidedishesofaparenting #positiveparenting #intentionalparenting

How do word puzzles impact your child's brain health?

People who enjoy solving word puzzles often claim that they're good for one's brain.  Well, based on research, word puzzles, are not only fun to do but also good for our brains...because they help maintain the brain's cognitive function.  Word puzzles serve as a form of exercise for our brains.  Health research shares that word puzzles help improve one's short-term memory, as they reinforce connections between brain cells. Also, because word puzzles are fun to solve and answer, they enhance our mood. It happens when we experience success for solving challenging parts of the word puzzle activity. On that note, it is important to engage in word puzzles, as often as possible. So, the more often, the better. One thing to note is that the word puzzles should be challenging such as they also keep increasing the level of difficulty.  And thus, word puzzles are among the homeschool activities we include for JD. He can spend hours doing word puzzles and he truly enjoys it.  #hom
